Today they got a boost from President Obama. … President Obama first took the opportunity to give way to some of the anger he is feeling toward AIG and the bonuses … Once he got past the AIG stuff he was free to talk about the help being extended toward small business.
President Obama just announced his plan to help homeowners, the “Homeowner Affordability and Stability Plan.” … The help to homeowners comes mostly in encouraging lenders to refinance mortgages with lower rates. This makes good sense to me.
