alpine-lot020_editedOur office has a brand new home on Fawn Lake waterfront that we have had listed for about 240 days, and we really want to get it sold!  This is new construction, and the lot is one of the nicest lake waterfront lots in the area, with western exposure.  The home really takes advantage of the view of the lake in its design.  We just have to get people out to see this home.  So, we have had several Open Houses, and plan to have another Open House this Sunday.

We picked this Sunday, April 26, because the community is also having its Annual Fishing Derby this weekend, and people will be visiting the community.  I’m hoping that our sunny weather holds for the weekend so the home will show at its best.  I have a vacant lot also for sale in the Fawn Lake community and plan to put flyers in the Open House to send people over to look at the lot.  This lot has everything on it all ready:  2-bedroom septic system, water hook up, power and cable are all on the site.

Fawn Lake is one of the largest non-power boat lakes in Mason County.  It is about 70 acres in size.  In our area people like western exposure because then you keep the sunlight longer during the day.  Right now the lake is filled up with fish in anticipation of the fishing derby.  The community has lots of people who like fishing, so the lake stays pretty well stocked year ’round in any case.

This waterfront home causes me to think of another property we have listed.  This other property is located on Skookum Inlet, and has about 375 feet of salt waterfront.  This is a big house with a gourmet kitchen, sauna and beautiful windows to catch the view.  It sits on 4.39 acres of privacy and seclusion, and yet is not far to town and an easy commute to cities beyond Shelton.  The present owners tell me what they have enjoyed most is watching the wildlife that visit there.

It is rather frustrating to have these beautiful properties, and not have the buyers yet to purchase them.  Both homes are lovely and now the home on Skookum Inlet is also a very good deal in price.  The sellers would like to stop coming over to take care of the yard, and hand that duty over to new owners.  They have decided they would consider a lease/option now.

I think the home on Fawn Lake would make a great home for those “snow birds” who like to live in Arizona during the winter months.  Fawn Lake community is a gated community, and people watch out for each other’s properties.  However, this home would also make a wonderful full time residence.

One Response to “Open House this Sunday”

  1. Interesting post. Felt good reading your post. My brother and I have been using John Beck’s program quite a while. We even have our own separate blogs on our small business. We’ll be waiting for updates.
